These laminator sheets are the matte type and the content underneath comes through very clear and it does actually stick to the surface of whatever you are laminating so be careful if you don't want to have something stuck under there permanently. Sometimes people will want to laminate a card or paper item just to keep it protected and then remove it from there, but in this case, I am almost positive that the paper items that you laminate cannot be removed. Other than that, they work well.
