I've been giving Gycoflex 3 to my seventeen year old senior cat, but Vetriscience was out of stock, so I opted for the next level down, hoping they would work as the ingredient dosage was slightly smaller. I'm happy to report she's doing fine, with no limps on her arthritic shoulder. I highly recommend Gycoflex joint supplements as I also used the Glycoflex 3 on my senior doberman before, and they worked very well. I recommended to my neighbor for his horribly lame fourteen year old dog. She was just taking tiny steps and obvious pain. He couldn't believe how much they helped. He said she was running, and he hadn't seen her run in years!

For reducing a cat's risk of Arthritis

I have been giving this supplement to my cat since she was age 7 (44 in human years), she is almost age 12 (64 in human years) at the time of this review. The Veterinarian recommended this supplement to reduce her risk of developing Arthritis in her older years. So far she still has her normal feline range of motion, hopefully she will keep it until she passes into the afterlife. The manufacturer instructs to give a cat 2 morsels per day for 10 days, then after that 1 per day. She enjoys the morsels.
