this flatware is a lovely medium gold color. ive washed them and run them through the dishwasher with no problems. they appear slightly over-sized. upon measuring what the spoons hold in ML- as with most other brand of spoons-you cannot use them to dispense 5ml teaspoon meds or 15ml tablespoons because that isn't what they hold. this Sofia flatware set will add a classy touch to your table setting, and impress any guests! i use them for every day use, but they are quite suitable for holidays and events. ive always wanted a set of gold flatware and so these make me smile every time i open the drawer for a utensil!

Washing and drying done after each use. Mixed with ordinary flatware for now, but after using and evaluating, would like to purchase a second set.
