Fresh Basil

This was used for my chicken dish with marinara sauce. The basil has a really fresh, strong aroma right out of the bottle, which gave me confidence in the quality. Once it cooked into the sauce, the flavor came through nicely—slightly sweet and herbal without tasting dull or overly dry. It blended well with the tomatoes and garlic, adding that classic basil note you expect in a good marinara. Overall, it feels like a step up from standard dried basil and works especially well in tomato-based dishes. Definitely something I'd keep stocked in my kitchen.

Always a staple in my kitchen cupboard

Always a staple in my kitchen cupboard. Goes nicely with chicken and pasta dishes with tomato. I love that this is in a glass jar with an easy open lid that closes securely and I can use it one-handed. This product was provided to me for an honest review though I have bought this product myself in the past. I will usually purchase whichever is the lowest price as personally I can't tell a difference between the quality of the name brands or store brands when it comes to dried basil.

Fragrant Basil

I love using basil in homemade pasta sauce and other recipes. This one was much better than other brands I've tried. It is so fragrant when you open the jar and the pieces are not too small (like dust) or too large (can't come out with shaker). I would absolutely repurchase.
