Control pesky flying insects around your home with Hot Shot Flying Insect Killer3. This formula kills houseflies; mosquitoes that may carry the Chikungunya, Zika, Dengue and West Nile Virus; and other listed flying insects by contact both indoors and outdoors. Plus, the aerosol spray kills for up to 4 weeks* and leaves behind a clean, fresh scent. Use Hot Shot Flying Insect Killer3 indoors to kill pesky wasps, hornets, yellowjackets and bees. Spray liberally into hiding and breeding places, especially under attic rafters, contacting as many insects as possible. You can also use this formula as a space spray to kill houseflies, mosquitoes, cluster flies, gnats, fruit flies and flying moths that are nuisances in your home. To do so, first close all doors and windows. Then, point the nozzle upward and direct spray mist to all parts of the room, especially windows and other light sources that attract insects. Fill the room with mist and leave the treated area immediately. Keep the room closed for at least 15 minutes. Ventilate the room when treatment is completed. Outdoors, spray the outside surfaces of screens, doors, window frames or wherever insects may enter the building. . Stop: Read entire label before use. Directions for use:. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not water the treated area to the point of runoff. Do not make applications during rain. All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses:. 1. Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures. 2. Applications to lawns, turf and other vegetation. 3. Applications to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 ft. Other than applications to building foundations, all outdoor applications to impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches and structural surfaces (such as windows, doors and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications only. Application is prohibited directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application. In the home, all food-processing surfaces and utensils should be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed before use. Exposed food should be covered or removed. Shake well before using. Do not use on surfaces that can be harmed or stained by water. Hold container upright and aim spray away from face and body. Indoors:. To kill wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and bees: Use in late evening or early morning when insects are at rest. Spray liberally into hiding and breeding places, especially under attic rafters, contacting as many insects as possible. Repeat as necessary. Aim spray at nest openings in ground, bushes and in cracks and crevices that may harbor nests. Saturate nest openings and contact as many insects as possible. Repeat as necessary.

Works great flying insects, there’s plenty of spray in the bottle for a four bedroom home. Although I’m hesitant to use it around my pets and my fruit consisting of bananas, mangoes, kiwis, and avocados. That’s why I gave the product a four star review. It smells like it has some type of chemical in it that bothers my eyes a bit.

I don’t know why it says for flying insects. Maybe that’s just what they wanted to call it. But it sure works great on roaches just a little bit and man they’re kicking up their heels and die real quick ! My only issue is it smells horrible and it lingers in the air a long time. So if you have asthma or breathing difficulty, it’s not so great unless it’s used in an open space .

Works good to kill flying insects on contact like gnats, fruit flies, drain flies . You do have to re-spray daily for problem areas. It takes a while to wipe out an infestation since they breed so rapidly once they get in your drains or house. Works best indoors to spray directly onto door sills and window sills and other problem areas where insects get in; like baseboard crevices or sink drains, then spray the air in problem area to catch and kill them in flight. It is toxic to breathe the fumes for humans and pets so need to wear a mask, close off a room if used as a fogger, keep pets out of area for an hour or so and always do wear a mask when spraying. You will cough if it gets in your lungs! Then ventilate room after spraying has time to work. Pesticide odor does linger for several days. Unfortunately other less toxic sprays just don’t seem to get the job done so I keep a can of this handy when all else fails.
