SOLVED: Mystery button on propeller
We love this toy! I think the little switch on the propeller is used to wind up the propeller blade to self propel the boat. If you turn the switch to the position where you hear clicking when you turn the propeller, keep turning it several times... the more times you turn it the longer it spins on its own. Once you've wound it up, switch it to other position (free spinning) and it will self propel through water. I noticed that it moves around a lot better with the top off the boat because it is so much lighter. Pretty cool though!
