I have a 12 year old cattle dog with seizures. He doesn't like to just swallow pills dry, but let's be honest- who does? I get the most bang for my buck with these by flattening them in my palm to a little oval shape then rolling his two pills into it. I roll the sides around kinda like a button when that's done, pinch the sides closed and give a little bit of the excess to our other dog so they both get a little something. My dogs both love them and I never struggle to give them medications.

I have a pet that requires medication twice a day but doesn't want to take it. When it is hidden in a delicious pill pocket from Greenies, she is on it! The texture makes it easy to shape around any tablet or pill without giving my pet medicine breath. If you have a capsule, you can also empty the capsule in these and then squish it all together and give it to them. I do that with my medicine, even if it comes in a pill form … an easy way if they won't eat, it is just to open their mouth and drop it in the back of their throat for some cats you have to do that for a dog you shouldn't, and then after dropping it in the back of their throat, just rub underneath their chin and keep their head up till they swallow it
