A Rugged, Lean Android Phone

Pros: durable (due to it's plastic touchscreen); adequate storage; lean operating system (it uses stock Android Pie system and doesn't contain many extra programs); rear-facing speaker is loud; has a replaceable battery (for those who care); camera is easy to use. Cons: Poor battery life; mediocre screen resolution and colors; slow processor; rear-facing speaker goes from soft to loud in a single click (this is especially jarring when using headphones); limited wallpapers, ringtones and alert sounds; camera resolution is poor; cannot disable notification pulse light. Summary: The Blu View 1 is a decent phone for those who need a durable device on a limited budget, or who want a stock Android experience. However, there are better phones in this price range (most notably the TCL A1 or TCL A2).

Awesome photos

I first bought the Blue view 1 to be my personal business phone, then had to use it as my personal phone when my other phone had been stolen. It was a great phone for me ( someone who isn't all that tech friendly). I, honestly, was shocked by the quality of my photos and impressed with the ability to function with my unsteady hands. I was disappointed when I went to replace it with another one & was unable to locate one in my area. My only true dislike of the Blue View 1, was the fragile quality of the screen. Screen cracked while in my rear pocket, I simply had sat down, shattering the entire screen. I will be getting another phone and the Blue View 1 tops my list in replacement phones.
