The foliage had been cut back for shipping so I don't know if it had already bloomed this year. I put it in a pot and leaves have started coming out but I don't see a bloom stalk yet. The bulb itself was large and healthy looking so I'm just waiting to see if the bloom matches the advertisement, knowing that it may be next year before I see a bloom.

I love Amaryllis have had very good luck with all the ones I have purchased. Hope these will grow and bloom this winter for me. I keep them and take care of them so they can rebloom next year. I have about 15 now. I never throw bulbs away after they have grown and bloomed. You can never have too many flowers.

The plant was most beautiful ! It was 27" tall, bloomed twice. The flower was 8" across. The 2nd blooming had three flower pods. From planting the bulb to the last bloom was a enjoyable experience watching the plant evolve!
