My husband fell and hurt his shoulder. He wanted me to find something that could be heated and stay on his shoulder without his needing to stay in the bed or chair. He wanted it to go with him. I think this one was able to heat in the microwave and it stay hot for a while. He got little relief so he ordered about five different ones. I do not know if any one was better than the others. He’s still complaining. It’s my indication that whatever he did to his shoulder warrants more than a heating pad. The magnetic closures make this easy to use and it works for shoulders and neck. It puts out plenty of heat, so no problem there. It’s a great idea.
