Hamilton Beach 40941 - Kettle - 1.8 qt - 1.5 kW - silver

I bought this kettle a month ago. When I first set it on the counter, my family complained about the extra buttons and seemingly complicated kettle. It turns out to be fairly intuitive and defaults to the hottest setting. The keep warm function is nice if I know I might be pulled away but seems to be an energy waster. The beep is the most useful as it allows me to hear when the kettle is done especially for the lower temperatures that don't make the kettle rumble. My only complaint is the handle is too thick: if you have small hands you might find this kettle difficult to pick up and hold. If you're looking for a multi-temperature kettle, this one boils quickly and the stainless steel finish is attractive.
