Black Drip 25 oz Coffee Maker 426.05

My previous Capresso stopped draining all the way and I broke the hinge off the lid after 6 years. I loved the sleek stainless steel look so ordered another. I paid $44 instead of getting one reconditioned since those had fewer stars in the reviews. THIS one comes on at random times! The red on/off switch must be used since the blue light at the bottom front is permanently pressed in. The emptied machine pops and fizzles unexpectedly while I'm drinking my morning brew! It starts another cup when I prep it for the next day unless I unplug it. I emailed the company offering to send both back and pay for repairs but no answer so now I'm rating it accordingly.
