Nutramax Cosequin Original Joint Health Supplement for Horses - Powder with Glucosamine and Chondroitin, 280 Grams

After extensive research the molecular biologist in me chose Cosequin because of the small molecule chondroitin sulfate. It binds the glucosamine better than a salt or large molecule chondroitin sulfate does, and so it is more likely to reach the joints. Also, when glucosamine is bound to a salt, the weight of the salt plus the glucosamine is the labeled molecular weight, so there is no way to know exactly how much glucosamine you're getting. My veterinarian also recommends this brand. I've had great success with my arthritic horses getting Cosequin, and this tub of it was to give prophetically to my OTTBs. Good stuff.
