Hob - From Ambient - Alternative stove top preparation. 1. Boil up to 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. 2. Stir in contents of pouch, and reduce heat to medium. 3. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes. 4. Remove oatmeal from saucepan, allowing 2-3 minutes to cool and thicken. Microwave preparation recommended. Follow these steps for the perfect start to your day. 1. Empty packet into a deep microwave-safe bowl. 2. Add up to 2/3 cup of water. Stir. Oatmeal must be prepared with water*. 3. Adjust microwave setting to 50% power. 4. Microwave for 2½ to 3 minutes** Caution: Bowl Will Be Hot. 5. Stir well and wait 2 to 3 minutes for oatmeal to thicken before serving. *To avoid boil over, refrain from adding milk until After cooking. **Instructions are based on 1100 watt microwave oven. Additional cook time required for lower wattage microwave. Microwaves are all different and may cause boil over or undercooked oatmeal. See below table for suggested cooking times according to microwave oven wattage (Note: 50% Power required/suggested for all microwave ovens and times.). Approximate Microwave Wattage: 1300W, Suggested Cook Time on 50% Power: 2:15 - 2:30. Approximate Microwave Wattage: 1100W, Suggested Cook Time on 50% Power: 2:30 - 3:00. Approximate Microwave Wattage: 900W, Suggested Cook Time on 50% Power: 2:45 - 3:15. Approximate Microwave Wattage: 700W, Suggested Cook Time on 50% Power: 3:00 - 4:00

Ummm...simply amazing

So I tried for years to like oatmeal because I thought it smelled so good. Periodically I would force myself to eat it but I just could not like it until I tried steel cut oats. The brown sugar cinnamon flavor is simply amazing! This has the absolute perfect amount of brown sugar and cinnamon in it! If Quaker ever stops making this product I would be truly saddened.

Hello I tried this for the first time and I absolutely loved it. I didn't have to add anything but milk and a little butter. I'm diabetic, trying to eat much healthier, this will be my #1 hot cereal to eat. I will but it for my granddaughters when I go visit. Thank you 😊
