Product details
Kokuho rose rice was developed exclusively by koda farms in the late 1950s. Located in the san joaquin valley of california, koda farm's rice breeding program fine-tuned this varietal to suit the micro-climate and soil type of the area. Kokuho rose rice is a medium-grain, premium rice known as the "treasure of the country". Kokuho rose rice has a slightly nutty flavor with a sweet after taste, slightly sticky in texture it is delicious when used in sushi and is suitable for any other rice dish. Kokuho rose is a calrose rice with a tender, moist texture and slightly sweet afternote. Kokuho (yellow) is extremely similar to kokuho rose, just a little less sticky, a little less sweet, and a little less (25%) in cost.

Instructions
Cooking: One cup of raw rice will produce about 3 cups of cooked rice. Serves 2. 1. 1 cup rice in pan. 2. Add 1-1/4 cups water (for drier rice, add less water). 3. Bring to boil over high heat. 4. Cover pan and simmer for 25 minutes. Remove from heat and serve. Washing not necessary.
