Ozark Trail 10' x 10' Simple Push Straight Leg Canopy (100 Sq. ft.)

Push Up Canopy I was way too excited to receive this canopy and my husband warned me to wait and see. About 7 years ago, I had purchased a similar canopy for a yard sale that we paid a little too much for, and I hated so much at the time that we returned that one to the store. So the box arrived and I could not believe that the package was manageable. My intent for this pop-up canopy was to use it for an outdoor family gathering, but now my brain had me thinking forward to the beach and how much nicer it would be to have this canopy than our aggravating beach pop up tent that we can never seem to get folded back the right way. We opened the box and realized there was minimal effort to setting up this canopy. It would take a while for one person to do it alone but it could be done. We discussed how useful this will be for barbecues (cookouts, we call them in these parts), family reunions, yard sales, or selling our garden vegetables roadside in our rural area. We discussed taking it to the beach and think we can hold it down pretty simply with some grocery bags of sand laying around the legs of it, or hang the bags with some bungee cords. My husband talked about taking this fishing, but the jury is still out if I will let him. We may have to buy another one! Ha! As convenient as it is, I may get my brother and sister-in-law one for use when they take their camper to the lake.
