Great Value Frozen Peas and Carrots, 12 oz (Steamable)

I purchased this item to use in a pot pie recipe. I used 2 pks of gravy- mixed up, 2 cups of the peas and carrots, a can of drained whole potatoes cut into quarters, 2 cups of cooked left over turkey and 1 pkg of 2 pie crusts room temp. While making your gravy add the other ingredients to the pan, warming the mixture as the gravy thickens. Lay and fit one room temp pie crust in a 9" pie plate, pour the gravy mixture onto the crust, Cover with the second crust, crimp the edge so the gravy doesn't spill out. Add a few holes to the top so the pie will breathe. Bake for 30 minutes at 350` until golden brown and smelling delicious. Serves 4.
