I couldn't believe how quickly it heated up on my flat top electric stove. It's a beautiful sauce pan! I'd like to add more pieces from this collection. Plus I think you can use metal utensils inside the sauce pan instead of always having to use something plastic. It's great if you want to use your metal wire whisk.

Love it. The non-stick finish makes for super easy clean-up, and the pour spout and drain holes work well. Only downside I've noticed so far is, unlike pots I've dealt with in the past, the handle of the lid does get quite hot and you do need an oven mitt or pot holder to do anything with the lid while in use.
