I just started using these for the first time after seeing a rave review. I had tried a generic before and really didn't like it so went back to the name brand. They seem to be working really well for me. The wheels are turning; the water is clear. Appearance of good quality. I think I will continue to buy these. I am so happy I found these things they work so good! They are thicker and higher quality then name brand aquatic right size c filters. The only thing is is they do degrade really really quick but they really hold anything that needs to be skimmed off your water. I am only using these as long as I can get them from now on.
