Good replacement for Cuisinart pan

I was looking for a replacement for a 2.5 qt hard anodized Cuisinart saucepan with lid and this was the closest option available. It is slightly larger at 3 qt and therefore heavier but I am generally pleased overall and hope the non stick coating is durable and will last for many years.

Good quality professional grade pan

This pan is better quality than I expected and very nice looking! It's a beautiful pan that I use almost everyday. It has good weight to it and I really like the size of this pot, even heat and ease of use. I've made Mac and cheese in it and boiling milk with cheese without sticking to the surface made it easy to clean afterwards. I've used for over a month now and no scratches yet. I like the shape of the handle making it easy to grip without getting hot. I have a gas stove and so far I've had no problems boiling or sautéing foods in it, I don't know how well it will work on an induction stove. I love that all handles are riveted on and will never come loose. The glass lid comes handy so I can see what's cooking, I just wish it had a vent hole. Be aware that this pan is HAND WASH recommended. I have accidentally ran it in the dishwasher once without problems but in order for the non stick properties to last on any pan you should really stick to hand wash only. The diameter of the cooking area at the bottom of the pan measures 6 1/2", the top is 7 3/4". I highly recommend Tramontina sauce pan
