Scotts® Turf Builder® SummerGuard® Lawn Food with Insect Control can be used on any grass type. Apply to a dry lawn in the summertime when insect activity or damage is first observed. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ¾. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 8 ½.
