I actually purchased this jar for my mother. Even though it's not recommended for liquid use she used it to pickle eggs for Easter. The size of the jar was perfect, it held almost a full bottle of vinegar, 2 cans of beats and more than 2 dozen large eggs. I'm sure she'll use it again year after year.
