I purchased this comb for my great-granddaughter who has thick slightly curly, very wavy hair. The reason I purchased this call is because I've had one for 40 years and I'm still using it. it's great for detangling hair when it's wet or dry. You can comb cream rinse through your hair in the shower and then rinse it off and use it to get out any tangles that are still remaining. They're unbreakable, like I said I've had mine for 40 years. Mine is the green one.
