Out of 9 or 10 bought, I've only bought 1 that had a lot of dead nightcrawlers in the container. I had them delivered because it's super convenient so I didn't get a chance to open the container to check for dead or old nightcrawlers. Every other time they've been fat healthy nightcrawlers.

They were just OK. I bought them to add to my flower bed. I used to order red wigglers from Walmart, but apparently they don't sell them anymore. So I bought these nightcrawlers, and found several broken pieces of worms. The others were OK. I'd rather have the red wiggler worms. I also felt that they were too expensive for what you get..
