I bought this so that I could continue to use my tried and true forty-year old aluminum pressure cooker on my induction stove. It worked exactly as it was supposed to. It takes longer to heat than induction cookware, about the same length of time as it used to take on my old electric range. The pressure cooker itself worked just like it always has so I'm completely satisfied with the interface disc.
