My boxer mix git a bad case of pancreatitis years ago and had to go on a low fat diet and vet recommended food was way too expensive and making own food was hard and he wasn't getting the proper nutrients. Then I found this food and he has thrived on it since! It's very low in fat so as not to upset his gut but also has the protein n nutrients to still keep him thriving and bouncing at 8 yrs old at a price that's doesn't break our bank lol

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After our vet told us that our yellow lab was overweight and need to lose some weight we did our research and found this food. After just a month he lost 2lbs and after about 6 months he was down to his more ideal weight. Normally our lab was a picky eater with his dog food, not any other food or treats though, and he would have to be "bribed" to eat it, not this food. He eats his food without fail each day, for the most part some days he might not eat it all or come back later to finish it; this can be true when we leave him with someone else overnight. But he will come back and eat this food without issue once he is hungry enough. Since we have put him on this food his weight is down and his joints are better, he does suffer from arthritis but we use something else from the vet for that!
