Great tent with one minor flaw

Overall, I'm very impressed with this tent. I bought it as an upgrade to the red cheaper Ozark one person tent. It's definitely a great upgrade. First, setup is a breeze. Only tent I didn't have to look at the instructions to set up. It's as intuitive as it gets. The quality of the tent is great. The fabrics are higher quality than the cheaper model and I've tested it in rain and only experienced minor condensation build up on the inside. No standing water or drips to speak of. Not bad for straight out of the box with no waterproofing applied. The tent is well designed with a nice storage pocket that is high enough up where you won't kick stuff out of it as you sleep, 2 vents on either side to create a decent cross breeze and a nice large door that makes getting in and out easy. The tent also features aluminum poles and stakes, which not only reduce weight but are more durable than typical fiberglass poles. One downside is that the zippers are still no name zippers that will most likely fail over time. They're usually the first thing to fail on a tent, in my experience. Another downside occurred during setup. One of the clips that secure the rain fly to the body of the tent broke during setup. I wasn't even pulling the strap that hard but the small clip cracked and broke. I was still able to secure it by just tying the strap off but it certainly isn't ideal and makes setup more tedious. I wish they'd just used the same clips as in the cheaper tent, which held up better. Besides that, it's been a great tent and makes camping more fun because I don't need to worry about the rain and setup is quicker and easier. If you're looking for a solid one person tent and have a bit more money to spend, this is a great option.

This is a very good inexpensive tent.

For such an inexpensive tent, this is a very good, decently light weight tent. I saw it recommended from a couple of YouTube backpackers. It's not ultralight, but it's pretty darn light! And well made. No complaints and I'm glad I bought it. It worked well, is decently large inside for a one person tent, and well made.

don't buy this if you want a tiny tent for car camping this is a legit backpacking tent for use on a trail. the design is well thought out and easy to set up. enough vestibule space, large door, airy mesh upper, and decent room. generally high quality for the money with decent poles and an average build quality for very low price. this is a small tent for me. at 6'6", i rub the feet and head, but it works well for my teenagers. cons not super light, and the materials are 'value' options compared to other makers tent poles are a little long when packed. small for real people not great airflow when the fly is on pros price generally high build quality great doors looks like a more expensive tent
