I always use this mix, because I love that it is gluten free and for the most part pretty clean. And a lot of gluten free produce gas, but not this mix. And it makes great pancakes! Walmart has the best price, so I usually order a dozen at a time.

I used to use Bisquick frequently, then I made my own version of it. Then I had to give up gluten, and for years, there was nothing to use. When I discovered Pamela's baking mix, I was pleased. It wasn't perfect, but it is good if you want a heartier, more robust mix. I used that for several years, and tried a few alternatives here and there, that just weren't worth the bother. When my daughter in law went gluten free a few years ago, my son who does all the baking and cooking tried a few mixes and then found the King Arthur. They loved it, and he kept telling me to try it. After more than a year, I finally tried some. Most stores here do not carry it, and the ones who claim to have it, hide it so successfully that I have never been able to find it. When I saw Walmart had it, I bought two boxes. It made the most delicious waffles I have had in more than ten years. They tasted light, not heavy and gritty, and the biscuits are wonderful. This is now a staple in my pantry. Gluten free is expensive but Wally has the best price I have found so far. I wish my local store had it, but since it doesn't and since I subscribed to Shipping Pass, it is very easy to get it, and I don't have to pay shipping costs or buy fifty dollars worth to get free shipping! Living gluten free is hard sometimes, but Walmart has a great selection and makes it that much easier. I have also tried the King Arthur flour blend, which I liked, and am anxious to try the cake mixes.
