For first time use, test a hidden area of carpet or fabric for colorfastness. Allow test area to dry. If color bleeds or discolors, carpet is not colorfast. I poured it into my cleaner vac along with water sprayed my beige material chairs with it, let it sit for a few seconds water vacuumed it up and fruit punch stain came right out. Doesn’t have a fragrance but leaves it smelling fresh and deodorized!. Still have a lot left great for the price!
