Oi Cup, Zero-Waste Reusable Menstrual Cup, Hypoallergenic and Recyclable, Small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is definitely a learning curve when you first switch from the typical pads or tampons. It takes some practice to get it positioned properly, but once you get the hang of it, it is worlds better than pads or tampons. Being able to anywhere, do anything without worrying about it, is the best feature, quite honestly. I do wish there was a way to easily clean it if you do have to dump it while you're away from home and won't be beside a sink in a public restroom - I may invest in some ph safe wipes, travel spray bottle, and probably another Oi Cup for just in case, which will still be spending less money than what I would restocking the disposable paper products. There really isn't much odor since everything is contained, and it really just feels so much more fresh and safe. I'm glad I gave the Oi Cup a chance. It's really a game-changer for women's health and this one is good quality and fit for anyone needing different sizes. They make it super easy to figure out which one you need and it saves so much time, money, and work that I never hesitate to talk with friends to see if they know about this better way of doing things!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried quite a few brands of pads and menstrual cups and I've never really thought about the impact menstrual products have on our environment. The Oi (Organic Initiative) company makes it it's mission to to stop menstrual products from sitting in landfills. Their products are 100% biodegradable and made from organic cotton. The pads are soft and absorbent enough for a fuller cycle and I notice less pain down there. I have the tampons as well, they come with BioCompact plastic, cardboard or Applicator free options and all are organic cotton. The cup is made with medical grade TPE and is recyclable and free of silicone, latex, BPA and phthalates. I chose a medium sized cup and it does well for my lighter days, it's also comfortable and soft, which is important for me. I'm honestly surprised at the quality and the fact they make it easy to have organic products that are reliable and safer for us and the environment at an affordable price. Definitely recommend trying!
