Purchased for hubby, who is borderline diabetic but finds that this product is a big help to keep him from getting the occasional "shakes." I keep several in the fridge for him. He'll take one along when we have to unavoidably be out (generally medical visits). HE gave me feedback as far as flavor, etc. Personally, I'm not a fan of thickened drinks no matter the brand. My husband likes ONLY the Rich Chocolate flavor. This size of 15 pack for the price listed on Walmart is seriously excellent. Generally, it's sold in packs of 6 or 12, with the 12 pack averaging up to $28 - 30. Note of caution: I place order during cold weather months to avoid its being on the delivery truck in warm to hot temps. Ordering a few pkgs enables me to place them in the basement pantry. That way hubby never runs out. Just a thought....

These are my favorite cookies. I can eat a couple and feel just right. I like their chocolate flavor and texture of the cookies. I tend to favor the original package instead of the double or flavored stuffing. My grandson likes their chocolate flavor golden ones better but I'll stick with the chocolate.I save the chocolate cookie outside to last.

The best morning meal replacement

I am new to insulin dependence.. Cutting out sugar has been such a struggle for me. I've been looking for substitutes/edibles that will help me manage my sugar that don't taste absolutely disgusting. I've been using this product for a little over a month now, I drink one every morning because I'm not really a breakfast person. Eating when I first wake up makes my stomach hurt, but I have to eat in the morning with the pills I have to take now. This replaces that meal and doesn't make my stomach hurt. It makes me feel full and really kickstarts my day! :) I know it is a little pricy, but at about $1.60 a day it is worth it!
