I love my food saver. I have the one that can fold up out of the way for more counter space. The gasket had gone bad and I didn't realize I could just order a new one. I was just about to trash this one, what a mistake that would have been. Just in time I have a smart son that said why not order a new gasket I'm glad someone was thinking. THANKS SON! I ordered (2) gaskets, just in case I might need another one. What a happy camper I am. Thanks it works great
