My daughter is on the spectrum and has sensory sensitivities, especially when it comes to clothes. Just for perspective, she cannot tolerate the feeling of seams, tags, stiff fabrics, denim, etc. All fabrics have to be soft and comfortable to her, but socks have been a big issue. On many, the inside seam is bulky and lays right against the sides of her toes and she will refuse to wear them. She also doesn't like them if they're too tight/not stretchy enough or if they're not breathable and soft. Buying socks she approves of is a challenge, but these were actually winners! Not only did she love the colors, which are much prettier in person, but she said they were the softest socks she's ever had. They're light and breathable and the seams don't seem to be a bother to her. I got her the size medium, and her shoe size is a kid's 1, and they fit well. Great socks! Even if they don't last, I'll be repurchasing just because she actually wears them.
