Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Programmable Kettle

This is a great little teakettle. I like that the glass window tells you how much water it contains plus has 6 different heat settings. It heats up fast and I like that it is cordless when pouring water. I use it for tea and cereal.

Owned an earlier version of this kettle that was used for years before it died. Bought a competitor's version of this kettle that was as useful though over a shorter lifespan. Saw that this model was very similar to its predecessor and opted to try the Cuisinart again. This has a few extra bells & whistles, e.g. when set on its plate it will resume heating water at the same setting. The trade-off for this useful feature is that one has to manually turn the kettle off (it will eventually but we opt not to chance it). After a month of use it has been reliable; we hope it lasts as long as our earlier model.
