This mattress is nice looking and appears to be well made. I've only had it a few weeks but so far I have no complaints. I sleep well on it. On a scale of soft being 1 to 10 being firm I'd rate it 7-8. It's firm but still “hugs” the body lightly. The only difference I find between this mattress and a high dollar mattress is that the edges are not as sturdy. I'd recommend it if you want a decent mattress and don't want to spend $1000 .
