Betadine Solution Gallon

Betadine® Solution Veterinary 5% povidone-iodine solution is a topical antiseptic microbicide. It helps reduce bacteria in a nonstaining and virtually nonirritating solution. It can be used to prepare skin prior to surgery to help prevent bacterial infections or after surgery as an application to surgical incisions. For external use only.

Features:

• Use full strength for pre-operative prepping of skin and mucous membranes, preventing bacterial infection, emergency antisepsis of minor lacerations, abrasions, and burns, post-operative application to surgical incisions
• Use on companion animals, including dogs, cats, and horses

Warnings:
For external use only. Do not use this product in the eyes or on food-producing animals.
Do not heat prior to application. Prolonged exposure to wet solution may cause irritation or, rarely, severe skin reactions. In pre-operative prepping, avoid “pooling” beneath the animal. Stop use and ask a veterinarian in rare instances of local irritation or sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
