GlassLock food storage is way to go
I have used GlassLock brand since switching to glass containers in 2018. Previously only sold at The Container store, but now sold at multiple places. This 3.1 cup size is perfect for leftovers for 1 or 2, great for reheating food in an oven, plus dishwasher, freezer %26 microwave safe. The lids are secure and sturdy and clean easily in dishwasher . I've only replaced one larger container lid after using it over and over.

We have used similar containers from Glasslock for many years. These fit perfectly in our lunch boxes and even leave room on the side for extras. The lids started to wear out and we needed replacements. This set was only a few dollars more than just getting replacement lids.
