It is smaller so you would need too cut wood down from standard length by 3/4 in. It does eat up the wood very easy as its smaller stove so smaller pieces can only fit. As well I believe for 1 night winter stay. I used 6 bundles of wood. Will definitely have too wake up every hour over night too ensure the tent keeps warm. If not it will go out and will have too restart a fire multiple times at night in the cold. It cooked very well with pots and pans. The metal is thin so it doesnt hold much heat for transferring. Even more of a reason too keep the fire going overnight. I would recommend getting a bigger stove as well with thicker material if you know its going too be cold. I used this 1/28/26 in -13 degrees. It held up past the hiccups of first timers but did what was needed
