THEY WORK--BUT THEY TAKE A FEW MONTHS
A friend had been taking collagen pills and he recommended I try them because I had noticed for some time my hair (always quite fine) had also been thinning which I really disliked. Anyway, I will say these Vital Protein peptides are marketed for women but I have been taking them for about 8 months and I am VERY PLEASED with the improved density of my hair! They actually really do work! Now, keep in mind they are not cheap--If you can find the peptide capsules for under $40 that is a good deal. I take 6 pills per day because at the time that was recommended--not sure what it is now. But, the capsules are VERY lightweight and easy to swallow albeit a little big. If you have issues swallowing pills, my secret is taking them after chewing some food and then putting a couple pills in my mouth which helps me swallow them easily--you fool your brain into thinking they are going down with food! Anyway, I'm very pleased with the results. This company also makes collagen powder which I don't use because I can the pills at work or on the go. I just wish they were a little cheaper.
