Instructions

Microwave Instructions: Microwave ovens vary - adjust cooking times as needed to reach 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer taken in several spots. 1. Place frozen, unopened bag this side up, laying flat in microwave. Do not pierce bag. For microwaves with a metal rack, remove rack. 2. Microwave on high for the recommended cook time based on your microwave wattage. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. 3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving (Stand time is important for food safety). Carefully handle bag at corners marked with the light blue tabs and remove from microwave with two hands. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy. Microwave Cook Time: 1200 Wattage; 3-1/2 Minutes. 1000 Wattage; 4 Minutes. 800 Wattage; 4-1/2 Minutes. For microwave ovens less than 800 watts, please use stovetop instructions. Caution! Product will be hot! Stove Top Instructions: 1. Empty frozen contents of bag into a 2-quart nonstick saucepan. Add 2 tbsp water. 2. Cover and cook over medium heat for 6 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes (Stand time is important for food safety). Sauce will thicken as it cools. Stir well and serve. For food safety & quality follow these cooking instructions carefully: Keep frozen - do not thaw. Cook thoroughly to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Cook only one product at a time. Promptly refrigerate any leftover. Reheat before serving. This side up. Lay flat when microwaving. Keep frozen; do not thaw; cook as directed.

Fooled me. I purchased this to have something soft after having some teeth extracted. It gave me some flavor I was looking for post dental surgery and provided some much needed nutrition. I will buy more because it really tasted good just be careful not to overcook because it can get a little hard and chewy. I like having an alternative to plain pasta.

Great easy side dish, Quick weeknight meal!

This product is amazing. It does not taste like it is made from vegetables. I cannot tell you how much time this product saved me from making a side dish during a weeknight dinner. If you want to make it a meal just throw some protein like grilled chicken or steak on top of it. The only thing I would like to say is this is really just enough food for a side dish for two people. If you are making it as a meal each person would need their own bag. I like it because of portion control for two people but someone would need to buy multiple bags for a family.
