Usage Instructions: Bounce Back is a concentrated nutritional supplement for cattle & calves; horses & foals; goats & kids; sheep & lambs; fawns & elk calves; llamas, alpacas & crias; adult & baby pigs. Please see the following text for mixing and feeding instructions. When mixing, add powder to warm water and stir to dissolve completely. Do not mix into milk or milk replacer. Do not discontinue regular milk replacer feedings. Discard any unused solution after 24 hours. Store dry powder in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry place. NOTE: The enclosed scoop holds approximately 1 ounce of dry powder by weight. 4 cups=1 quart; 4 quarts=1 gallonWhen mixed properly, Bounce Back should appear light blue in color. Mixing and Feeding Directions [4 OZ PACKAGE SIZE] CALF: Mix 1 packet of Bounce Back into 2 quarts of warm water. Depending on the severity of scours and level of dehydration, bottle-feed 2 quarts of solution 1-3 times daily between regular milk replacer feedings. FOAL: Mix 1 packet of Bounce Back into 2 quarts of warm water. Offer the solution at a rate of 1 ½ to 2 quarts for each 100 pounds of body weight, twice daily. Feed from a bottle or an open pail secured at chest height. LAMB OR GOAT KID: Mix 5 level teaspoons of Bounce Back into 2 cups of warm water. Offer the solution at a rate of ½ cup for each 6 pounds of body weight. Feed from a bottle twice daily or free-choice feeder. BABY PIG: Mix 5 level teaspoons of Bounce Back into 2 cups of warm water. Offer in a free-choice feeder for 1-2 days during weaning, hot weather. CRIA (LLAMA OR ALPACA), FAWN OR ELK CALF: Mix 5 level teaspoons of Bounce Back into 2 cups of warm water. Offer the solution at a rate of ½ cup for each 6 pounds of body weight. I keep Bounce Back on hand all the time. I raise goats and when one gets sick or stressed I always add Bounce Back to their water to help balance their electrolytes. If they are not eating and I have to drench them to keep up their proteins I mix kid milk replacer and add the Bounce Back to the mix to help them maintain and get better. The product has always helped my animals. I was buying small bags, but used to many and now I purchase this 4 lb. bag instead. I do keep the bag in my freezer when I'm currently finished using it for a particular animal. It does change color over a period of time after exposed to air and the freezer seems to the product fresher looking. The animals also seem to like the taste of the water the Bounce Back must add.
