Peet’s Coffee start on Vine and Walnut Streets in Berkeley, CA, where Alfred Peet opened his first shop in 1966 with one goal: to make coffee unlike anything America had tasted before. Today, we abide by his exacting standards to deliver the richest, most flavorful cup—using only the world’s finest beans, hand roasting in small batches, and never compromising on freshness.







Who Is Major Dickason?



A loyal customer of our original Berkeley store, retired army officer Key Dickason brought the idea for our most beloved blend to Mr. Peet in 1969. Intrigued, our founder worked with the local gourmand and coffee aficionado to refine it. They sampled countless combinations before arriving at what is now our all-time bestseller. The result was so good, Alfred Peet decided naming it after his friend wasn't enough — Dickason's rich, complex blend also deserved a promotion from sergeant to major. Major Dickason's combines the best origin coffees from the world's premier growing regions, each imparting its distinctive regional characteristics while still effortlessly rounding into a smooth, balanced cup.

Coffee

I received the product and was excited to try the Peet Brand. Much to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed the great taste of the Dark Roast. It seemed full, bold and delicious. I on the other hand love "dark roast" therefore that is why I chose it for my taste test. For anyone that does not like dark roast I would not order these. I am not sure if they come in a larger quantity or not but I surely will look for it and will make a purchase of this delicious Peet Coffee brand. These Kcups are easy to use in your Keurig coffee maker.

Great tasting Coffee

I had not heard of Peet's Coffee before and so I was anxious to see what it was like. The coffee has a rich, deep flavor, it has no bitter after taste and has a nice aroma. It is 100% Arabica coffee. There are 16 K-Cups in the package and priced about the same as others. I am a big coffee drinker and I am very particular about the coffee I drink. I have tried many brands, and this one is one of my tops. The K-Cups can be used in any Keurig coffee maker. If you are a coffee drinker and enjoy dark roast coffee this is definitely one to try.

Excellent Dark Roast Coffee

As a norm, I prefer a light roast or a medium roast coffee. I discovered Peet's Major Dickason's Blend Dark roast coffee to be very flavorful without being too strong to drink it. If you prefer a rich dark roast coffee, you'll want to try this. What you get is a very flavorful cup of coffee. Peet's K-Cups tend to stay cool enough to the touch so you don't burn your fingers when removing the used product from your machine. There is no coffee ground spillage, just simply eye opening rich flavorful coffee in every drink.
