Kershaw Brawler Pocketknife, 3" 8Cr13MoV Steel Modified Tanto Blade

I recently purchased this as a replacement for the one I lost a few years ago. I absolutely love this thing. from the design of it, to the sharpness. As with most Kershaw's, the inner spring makes deployment quick and easy. deployment is also extremely smooth. The clip has 4 locations that it can be placed and adjusted based on personal comfort, so long as you have the correct torx bit for the screws. It comes out of the box fairly sharp so it can be used straight away, instead of having to sharpen first. A good stropping wouldn't hurt before first use and makes the blade that much sharper. The straight edge tanto style makes sharpening fairly easier as the curve on most other blades are a pain to get the sharpness I look for on a blade. my only real complaint is that it doesn't have a blade lock like the one found on the very first Kershaw I was given as a gift. other than that, this is a fairly decent and durable EDC pocket knife. As a professional knife sharpener and amateur knife maker, I highly recommend this blade.
