e.l.f. Mascara

I've had two tubes of the black, and it's probably the only mascara I've ever used that DOESN'T flake or smudge under my eyes by afternoon. It is easy to get off (for me), by using water. It comes off in little strings. Eye makeup remover not necessary (in fact, it doesn't work at all). I've used each tube for at least three months. I will say that I don't use the waterproof often at all, unless it's to put a coat over the other one. Waterproof by itself doesn't have the coverage and isn't any more waterproof to me than the other side, and it seems a bit dry.

I have both the black and brown and like them both. I have been using the regular more than the waterproof so that it is easy to remove. I was having flaking issues, so I had went to a makeup store to buy a non-flaking mascara. The associate told me that the problem was more likely with not getting my lashes clean enough. Putting new mascara on over old will lead to flaking. This was spot on since I didn't want to do anything that would cause my lashes to fall out. So now I use the mascara a bit more sparingly (esp for daytime) and spend a little more time removing it each night.
