I ordered 1 at first, it worked so well I ordered a 2nd. It taks a comfortable amount of water at least 1 gallon and easily lasts all night and into the 2nd day. When you turn on the switch it starts almost instantly and has an adjustable output amount. It is not hot mosture but if it is hot or cold the results are the same from what I have read. And I will say it is very a helpful device, it helps both my wife and I very well.

I have only had this humidifier a few weeks. In that time I can tell you it seems to work really well though I don't believe it really has an auto off feature. Let me explain, when it has water the little light will be blue. When it is empty the light will be red. Now, if the light is red and you add water without turning the knob to the off position, it will immediately start blowing steam. Ergo, couldn't REALLY be off now could it?Other than that, it works awesome. I love how easy it is to fill and how one can just turn the spout any direction easily.
