Want an Excellent Dark Roast Italian Roast is it.

I really like Italian Roast and have been looking for a good one and finally found it. I like a good dark roast and Italian Roast from Peets is it. I use to drink Italian Roast from a competitor but its Italian Roast tastes like burnt coffee and Peets does not.

An important part of an espresso mix

Both the French Roast and the Italian Roast are excellent, but the flavor of the Italian Roast is definitely better. I use 1/2 Aged Sumatra, 1/3 Italian Roast, and 1/6 Brazil for my espresso mix (I drink 3-4 espresso a day) and it's better than any espresso in any coffee bar I've had in Italy, or Europe, or North America over the last 50yrs. Aged Sumatra provides the heavy body (with zero acidity) and the lingering flavors, Italian Roast provides the initial taste, and Brazil adds hazelnut flavor as well as a carefully measured amount of acidity.
