So, I detail vehicles as a side hustle in my retirement. I've had my eye on this unit for a few years. An extractor is number two next to a pressure washer for professional cleaning results. I've struggled with my bissells size and suction power from the start. But they work in the long run. $150 is an easy pill to swallow compared to the price tag on this unit. But my latest Bissell left me mid job and I pondered, do I invest in another one or go commercial and improve my game. I now own my dream extractor. Upon opening, your met with quality. It's definitely built for the long haul, right? I personally see flaws that will ultimately need attention or modification. *The trigger for the nozzle is made of plastic. It hangs out waiting to be snagged and snapped off. *The trigger stays engaged after releasing it. Not fully, but it keeps spurting until pressure is applied to get it off the switch. This might correct itself after more use. *The solution opening doesn't have a cover or lid. This one really confuses me. Your solution splashes around while moving the unit. Fortunately the switches below it are enclosed in a protective silicone casing. And it's just inviting air born debris to be introduced into the pump and solution nozzle. *The screen for the dirty solution is not fixed into drain cavity. It just lays in it. It's been sideways a few times while using it. *The vacuum hose connector is a barbed connection, not screw on. This is something that is put on and taken off for each use. I see this possibly failing and leaking over time. *The pump has to be manually turned off when the vacuum is turned off. It continues to run not having a internal pressure cut off solenoid. *Suction is good but not great. This surprised me. I was really expecting more for the cost and hype of its two stage 80 inch lift motor. *The heated solution is a definite plus, but it does take time to reach what you're cleaning. 8 feet of exposed wire braided line is a long haul to deliver the heat. But when it does get there, it's very hot. The big foam safety wrap to cover the steel line is kinda overkill though. It makes it difficult to grasp and control the cleaning head. I just sliced a rubber fuel line long ways and enclosed the line where I grasp it. *It's heavy. Especially with a gallon of solution on board. Nearing 40 lbs. But quality metal components are what makes it commercial grade. So am I happy with my purchase? I will be after some modifications. It's 10 fold better than what I had. It reduces work time dramatically. And time will tell its longevity.
