Jiffy Natural & Organic Seed Starter Mix, 12 QT, Garden Soil

I got this to use when I am transplanting seedlings from my aerogardens into planter containers, and it is perfect for that. It is packed really dry, so the bag holds a lot of the potting soil, but you need to soak it good before planting anything in it. A lot of the potting soil is already wet, so it is a lot heavier to carry around than this is, but you are actually getting a lot more than you realize, once you have added water and let the potting oil reconstitute.

This seed starter is excellent and is perfect for seed starting. I have attempted to make my own over the years, to save money, that resulted in a myriad of issues. I now only purchase the Jiffy seed starter. It is largely wood free, which is hard to find nowadays. I just add warm water directly to the bag and then put the moist starter in my cells. One bag lasts approximately two and a half trays if putting in small cells and one and a half trays of large cells. My only recommendation would be to produce bags with bigger volume and of course always want lower price where possible.
