Klymit Static V Long Sleeping Pad, Inflatable Lightweight Camping Air Mattress for Backpacking, Hiking & Outdoor Comfort, Green

I study wildlife ecology, so during the summer months I literally live in a tent while I am in the field collecting samples. I picked up this sleeping pad as a quick, budget option and have been using it every night for about two weeks now, and it has made a big difference for me. It inflates pretty quickly and easily (usually takes me about 3-4 minutes) and holds air well. I have not noticed it deflating, though I only ever use it for one night at a time since I am camping in a new location each night. It also fits easily back into the stuff sack that it came with, and it folds up into such a small package that it is really easy to stow in a pack. It only ends up being about 1.5 inches thick, but that has been just enough to improve my sleep. The other night I ended up staying at a really rocky campground, but I didn't even notice it thanks to this sleeping pad. I've only been using this product for two weeks so far, so I cannot speak to its long-term durability, but thus far it has been really great, especially for the price that I paid.

I'm very glad I had made the decision to purchase this Klymit Static V sleeping pad for the camping trip. Very easy and quick to inflate with a portable, battery-powered air pump. I had also purchased and used a separate closed-cell foam camping pad to be placed underneath this Klymit sleeping pad which made it comfortable. I slept well on it in my tent. This Klymit sleeping pad is perfect for warm or temperate weather camping, but doesn't have the insulation value for cold weather camping. By the way, I used it during early fall season when the temperatures were still warm / temperate. The pricing for the Klymit Static V sleeping pad is still reasonable and a good value compared to other sleeping pads that are ridiculously overpriced.
