This knife is sharpness from the moment you look at the package till you open it and actually feel the sharp edge of this awesome knife. You can't go wrong for the money.

This knife is built very well. Its very sharp right out of the box. You can tell if the knife is not stable or sturdy by opening the blade grabbing the back side of it and holding the handle while gripping it try and move it up down side to side if there is any play in the blade or handle its not not built very strong or durable.

Sog makes good beater knives. Some are really cheap though, and not worth the money. The Tellus line is. It's strikes a good balance between affordability and durability without being cheap junk. Great for general use.
